TN TET Result 2026 Out at trb.tn.gov.in

Marks and qualifying status for both papers are now available on the TRB website.

The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) has declared the TET Result 2026 of the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025. The results are available on the official website, trb.tn.gov.in, for candidates who appeared in the exam.

The board released the results for both Paper I and Paper II in a single PDF file. Candidates can check their marks and qualifying status by using their roll numbers.

The TNTET Paper I and Paper II examinations were held on November 15 and November 16, 2025.
According to the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board, the results were published after evaluation of the final answer key.

The final answer key was prepared after scrutiny by subject experts, the board said. This review process is meant to ensure accuracy before releasing the results. In the result PDF, each candidate’s roll number appears with their marks and result status. The status is shown clearly as either “Qualified” or “Not Qualified”.

To check the TET Result 2026, candidates must visit trb.tn.gov.in and open the link titled “Release of Results – Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper I & II”. After selecting the relevant paper, the result PDF will appear on the screen.

Candidates need to search their roll number in the PDF to see their marks and qualifying status.
They are advised to download the file for future reference. The Teacher Recruitment Board has also confirmed the minimum qualifying marks for TNTET 2025. For general category candidates, the qualifying mark is 90.

Candidates from BC, BCM, MBC, and DNC categories, as well as persons with disabilities, must secure at least 75 marks. For SC, SC(A), and ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark is 60. The board also explained the qualifying percentage for each group. General category candidates must secure 60 per cent marks to qualify.

Reserved category candidates must secure 55 per cent marks. SC and ST candidates must secure 40 per cent marks to qualify for the eligibility test.

Candidates who secure the required minimum marks will be declared qualified. They will receive the TNTET eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board.

According to the board, the eligibility certificate confirms that a candidate has met the basic requirements to apply for teacher recruitment in Tamil Nadu. This certificate is an important document for future government school teacher appointments in the state.
