The admission test for the ‘C’ Unit of Comilla University ended on Saturday, January 31, at the Comilla University campus.
The test was held for the Faculty of Business Studies for the first-year undergraduate programme of the 2025–26 academic session.
According to university sources, the exam started at 3:00 pm and ended at 4:00 pm. A total of 200 seats are available in the ‘C’ Unit. Against these seats, 12,830 candidates submitted applications. The B Unit admission test was conducted on the same day from 11 AM to 12 PM.
This means about 64 applicants competed for each seat, according to university data. The admission test was conducted in multiple-choice question (MCQ) format for 100 marks. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The minimum pass mark for the test has been set at 33, university officials said.
After the exam, many candidates and guardians asked when the result would be published. Comilla University authorities have not announced any fixed date for the result.
However, university sources said that, in general, the results of Comilla University admission tests are published within one to two weeks after the exam. Officials also confirmed that the large number of candidates means the answer sheets will go through the standard checking process.
The ‘C’ Unit is one of the most competitive units at the university because it covers business-related subjects. The result is important for students seeking admission to the Faculty of Business Studies at Comilla University.
University authorities said the merit list will be published through the official admission channels once the evaluation process is completed.
