The Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board has extended the deadline for registration of Class 6 and Class 8 students whose registration process remained incomplete for the academic years 2024 and 2025.
The board said students can now submit the registration fee, including late fees, online until April 28. The Electronic Student Information Form (ESIF) must be completed by April 30, 2026.
The decision was announced in an urgent notice issued on Tuesday. Principals and superintendents of all approved madrasas under the board have been informed.
According to the notice, the extension applies to students whose registration was left unfinished for any reason. The board said the move was taken on humanitarian grounds and to protect students’ academic progress. It also aims to prevent problems when students move to the next class.
Fees must be paid through the Sonali payment gateway. Student data must then be entered online through the respective madrasa.
The board also said only new student entries will be allowed during this extended period after payment of the late fee. No correction, editing, or deletion will be allowed for records that have already been submitted earlier.
The extension is important for families and institutions that missed the previous deadline, as registration is needed for regular academic records and future class progression.
Madrasas have been asked to complete the process within the new schedule to avoid further delays.
