SSC Question Leak Rumours Spread Online, Ministry Responds

    SSC Question Leak Rumours

The Ministry of Education has said reports of a question paper leak in the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are false. The warning was issued on Sunday, 26 April, by the Secondary and Higher Education Division.

In its notice, the ministry said claims spreading on social media and some news portals about the SSC 2026 Bangla First Paper (101) being leaked for all education boards were “completely false, baseless, and motivated.”

Officials said the Bangla First Paper exam was held on Tuesday, 21 April, while the Bangla Second Paper took place on Thursday, 23 April. According to the ministry, no unpleasant incidents were reported from any examination centre during those tests.

The notice said concern grew among students and guardians because the rumour was circulated after the exams had already ended. It added that the false claim appears intended to create confusion and harm public confidence.

The ministry also said no officer or employee from the ministry or its subordinate offices was involved in the matter. It rejected any suggestion of official links to the rumour.

Students, parents, and guardians were asked to remain careful and avoid being misled by such claims. The ministry also warned people not to make any financial transactions related to promises of leaked questions or exam materials.

Education officials often issue such warnings during public examinations, as rumours can spread quickly online. False claims may cause stress for candidates and distract them during an important exam period.

The ministry requested the public to report any future propaganda or suspicious messages about question leaks directly to the Ministry of Education so that necessary action can be taken.
