The University of Dhaka has published the special migration results for its undergraduate admissions for the 2025–2026 academic year. The university also announced fresh subject nominations for eligible students.
In a notice on the admission website, the university said students whose subjects changed through special migration, or who received new subject nominations, must follow four instructions to confirm admission.
Students who received a new subject nomination must pay the central admission fee. Students whose subjects changed through migration must pay the required admission fee for the new department.
The university said all fees must be paid online by Thursday, 30 April. After payment, students must appear in person at the relevant Dean’s Office to complete the final admission process.
Authorities also asked students to check the Notice Section of their respective admission unit for detailed guidance and any further instructions.
The announcement is important for thousands of applicants waiting for final placement after earlier admission rounds. Special migration allows students to move to a new subject based on available seats and merit position.
Students who miss the fee deadline or fail to complete in-person formalities may face delays in finalising admission, according to the notice.
The university is expected to continue the remaining admission activities after the deadline passes and documents are verified.
