The National University has published the Honours Admission Result 2026 for the 2025–26 session on Sunday, May 3. Candidates who took part in the admission test can now check their merit status through the official website or via SMS.
According to an official notice issued on the university’s notice board, the result was scheduled for release at 4 PM. However, it became available online earlier, around 1:30 PM. Applicants can view their merit position and allotted college by entering their Application ID or Roll Number on the official portal.

Students can also check results using mobile SMS. To do this, they need to type “nu<space>athn<space>Application ID” and send it to 16222. After that, National University will send the merit status in a reply SMS.
The detailed merit status is expected to be fully accessible online from 9 PM.
The admission test for this session was held on April 25, 2026. A total of 453,148 candidates appeared in the exam this year, showing strong competition across the country.
There are 452,875 seats available in total. Among these, 270,520 seats are in government colleges, where 394,229 applicants competed. In private colleges, 58,119 applicants applied for 182,355 seats.
The published result will guide the next steps of admission, including college confirmation and subject allocation, which the university is expected to announce soon.
