The National University has published the results of its undergraduate first-year admission test for the 2025–26 academic session. The results were released within one week of the test held on April 25. A total of 453,148 students took part in the exam, and 364,135 students passed. The overall pass rate stands at 80.36 percent.
Among the successful candidates, 229,765 students have secured a place in the first merit list. Of them, 113,394 are from the Humanities group, 65,337 from Science, and 51,034 from Business Studies.
The university has issued a notice detailing the next steps for admission. The notice was signed by Acting Dean Dr Md Ashek Kabir Chowdhury and Deputy Registrar Md Abul Kasem. According to the notice, students in the first merit list must complete their admission form online from May 5 to June 17.
Applicants need to log in to the university’s admission website using their Application ID and PIN. They must complete the final admission form and keep a printed or PDF copy for submission.
Students must submit the completed form along with a registration fee of Tk 1,130 to their respective colleges. This payment can be made through mobile banking or directly, based on college’s instructions. The submission period runs from May 6 to May 18.
Colleges will verify and confirm admissions between May 6 and May 19. Only students who complete all steps within the deadlines will secure their seats.
The university has also listed required documents for admission. These include the online application form, admit card, SSC and HSC certificates and marksheets, HSC testimonial, a photocopy of the NID card or birth registration, and two to three passport-size photos.
The admission process is important for thousands of students across Bangladesh. It determines entry into affiliated colleges under the National University system.
