The Honours Admission Result 2nd Merit List 2026 for the 1st Year admission test at National University is likely to be published before the upcoming Eid holidays, according to university officials.
Dr. Md. Asheq Kabir Chowdhury, Dean of the School of Undergraduate Studies, said the second merit list will be released after the admission process for students selected in the first merit list is completed.
Speaking to the media, he said students who passed the 2025–26 undergraduate first-year admission test must complete their admission formalities within the announced schedule. He added that the university plans to begin the second merit process before Eid.
The online admission form fill-up process for students selected in the first merit list started on May 5 and will continue until June 17. Students must download the admission form from the university admission portal and contact their respective colleges to complete admission procedures.
According to a university notice, students selected in the first merit list must submit the final admission form along with a registration fee of Tk 1,130 between May 6 and May 18. Colleges will confirm final admissions from May 6 to May 19.
To complete the process, students need to log in to the honours admission section of the university website using their Application ID and PIN. After filling out the final admission form, they must print or save a PDF copy before submitting it to their colleges.
National University published the admission test results last Sunday. The pass rate this year stands at 80.36 per cent. Initially, only students included in the first merit list can take part in the admission process.
The university is expected to announce further details about the second merit list after colleges complete verification and confirmation of first-list admissions.
