The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) has published the Nursing Admission Result 2026 for various courses, including BSc Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science, and Midwifery. The Merit list will be available on the official website. Candidates will need to provide their admission roll number to check their merit status.
The admission test was held on February 27 across the country. More than one lakh students took part in the exam. Candidates have been waiting for the merit list since the test ended.
According to available information, the result will be published today, Sunday (March 1), on the official BNMC website. Candidates can check their merit status online by using their admission roll number.
To view the result, applicants need to visit bnmc.gov.bd from a mobile phone or computer. On the homepage, they should look for the admission result notice under the “Notice” or “Latest News” section. After clicking the relevant course link, they may find the merit list in PDF format.
If the result appears as a PDF file, candidates must download it and search for their roll number. In some cases, the website may ask for login details. Applicants should enter their roll number and other required information correctly to see the result.
The result can also be checked through the Teletalk admission portal at bnmc.teletalk.com.bd, which is operated by BNMC. Candidates need to select the correct admission category and provide the required details.
For the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses, the admission test included Bangla, English, General Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge with Mental Ability. Each course had a total of 100 marks in the multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam.
The final selection is based on 150 marks. Of this, 100 marks come from the MCQ test. The remaining 50 marks are added from public examination results. The Grade Point Average (GPA) from SSC or equivalent is multiplied by five, with a maximum of 25 marks. The GPA from HSC or equivalent is also multiplied by five, with a maximum of 25 marks.
Once the result is published, selected candidates will need to follow further instructions from BNMC regarding admission procedures.
