The BSc Nursing and Midwifery admission result for the 2025-2026 academic session will be published soon. The admission test was held on Friday, February 27, 2026, across Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) conducted the exam across the country.
Officials said candidates will be able to check the results on the BNMC website once they are released. Every year, the council publishes the result within one week of the admission test. Based on this pattern, the BSc Nursing and Midwifery Result is expected in the first week of March 2026.
According to official information, the test took place from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. The total duration was 1 hour and 15 minutes. Candidates sat for a multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam worth 100 marks. A large number of students from across the country took part in the test.
The council arranged separate question papers for BSc and Diploma courses. For the four-year BSc in Nursing course, the question paper included Bangla, English, Mathematics, Science, and General Knowledge with Mental Ability. Science carried the highest marks and covered Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
For the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and the Diploma in Midwifery courses, the subjects were Bangla, English, General Mathematics, General Science, and General Knowledge with Mental Ability. Each course had a total of 100 marks in the MCQ test.
Selection will be based on a total of 150 marks. Of this, 100 marks come from the MCQ exam. The remaining 50 marks are added from public exam results. The Grade Point Average (GPA) from SSC or equivalent is multiplied by five, with a maximum of 25 marks. The GPA from HSC or equivalent is also multiplied by five, with a maximum of 25 marks.
Applicants had to meet specific academic requirements. For the BSc in Nursing, students must come from the Science group. They needed a combined GPA of at least 6.50 in SSC and HSC. They also needed a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both exams and at least 2.50 in HSC Biology.
For the three-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, students from any group could apply. They required a total GPA of 6.00, with at least 2.50 in both SSC and HSC. The Diploma in Midwifery course is open only to female candidates. The GPA requirement for this course is the same as the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery.
General eligibility rules required applicants to be permanent citizens of Bangladesh. Students must have passed SSC between 2021 and 2023, and HSC between 2023 and 2025. The gap between SSC and HSC could not be more than three years.
The results will determine admission into government nursing institutions across the country. Once published, candidates will be able to check their results on the official BNMC website.
