Degree 1st Year Result 2026 Published, Here’s how to check online

The Degree 1st Year Result 2026 for Pass and Certificate Courses under the National University has been published. A total of 90.29% candidates passed the exam, while 2,24,662 appeared. The results has released on Saturday, February 28. Students can check their results on the official university websites.

A notice signed by MD Anamul Karim, Controller of Examinations, confirmed the publication. The notice was issued on the university’s official website earlier in the day.

According to the notice, the results were published with the approval of the Academic Council and the Syndicate. The university said the average pass rate is 90.29%.

A total of 224,662 candidates took part in the examination. The figure includes regular, irregular, and improvement examinees. Students from 1,921 colleges joined the exams. The tests were held at 649 centres across the country.

The examinations began on November 18, 2025. They ended on January 6, 2026. Candidates from different parts of Bangladesh sat for the exams during this period.

  • Step 1: Visit the official result website: http://result.nu.ac.bd or www.nu.ac.bd
  • Step 2: Select the option for Degree Pass and Certificate Course.
  • Step 3: Click on “Degree 1st Year” from the list of examination options.
  • Step 4: Enter your Exam Roll number in the required box.
  • Step 5: Enter your Registration Number correctly.
  • Step 6: Type the Exam Year as mentioned on your admit card.
  • Step 7: Click on the “Search Result” button.

After clicking the button, your result will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to check all details carefully and keep a printed copy for future use.

The notice also mentioned that the university has the authority to correct any mistake in the published results. If any discrepancy is found, the authorities may amend or cancel the result, either in part or in full.
