The GST A Unit admission test for the 2025–2026 session will take place on Friday, April 10. The exam will begin at 11:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. Candidates must enter their centres at least 30 minutes before the test.
This year, 166,162 students have applied for the A Unit, which covers science subjects. The test will be held for admission to 20 general, science, and technology public universities under the cluster system.
According to the admission circular, the A Unit exam is the final test of this year’s GST admission process. The admission cycle began on March 27 with the C Unit exam.
The test will follow a multiple-choice question format. The total mark is 100. Students must score at least 30 marks to qualify.
Authorities said 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Some candidates may also get another chance to sit for the test under special provisions. However, officials did not share details about this arrangement.
The B Unit admission test for humanities students was held on April 3. The result was published on April 6, three days after the exam.
Earlier, the C Unit test took place on March 27. Authorities published the results on March 29 at around 11:55 pm, two days after the exam.
Overall, 284,480 students applied this year under the GST cluster admission system. Among them, 166,162 applied for science, 93,102 for humanities, and 25,216 for business studies.
The GST cluster system allows students to apply to several public universities through one exam. Authorities are expected to announce the A Unit results after the test, following the usual evaluation process.
