A new rumour claims that the iPhone 18 Pro may feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera. The information comes from tipster Whylab. The claim was shared in recent online posts.
In November last year, another report said Apple planned to upgrade the front camera across the full iPhone 18 lineup. The latest rumour supports the 24MP upgrade. However, it suggests that only the Pro models may receive the improved sensor.
If correct, the higher-resolution front camera could improve selfie photos and video calls. It may also offer better results in low-light conditions. A 24MP sensor can capture more detail than lower-resolution cameras.
The Pro lineup is also rumoured to feature a smaller Dynamic Island. Some Face ID components may move under the display. Face ID is Apple’s facial recognition system used to unlock the phone and confirm payments.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max in September this year. The company may also introduce the iPhone Fold at the same event.
Apple has not confirmed any of these details. The company usually announces new iPhones during its annual September launch event. More official information is likely to emerge closer to the launch date.
