The Jagannath University B Unit admission result for the 2025-2026 session has been published at 11:50 pm on February 2. The university confirmed the result through its official admission system.
The admission test was held on Friday, January 30, at centres in Dhaka and other regions. Thousands of students took part in the examination on the same day.
This year, competition was especially strong for the Faculty of Arts and Law. University officials said the number of applicants was much higher than the available seats.
The Jagannath University ‘B’ Unit admission test for the 2026–2026 session took place from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam was conducted as a one-hour written test. A total of 79,807 candidates applied for the B Unit admission test this year. Only 785 seats are available in the Faculty of Arts and Law.
This means about 102 candidates competed for each available seat. The figures show how limited the number of places is for this unit. The examination was conducted at 13 centres, including Jagannath University and other locations in Dhaka. To manage the large number of candidates, three regional centres were also used outside the capital.
Students can now check the JNU B Unit Result through the official website, jnuadmission.com. Applicants must use their HSC Roll, SSC Roll, and mobile number to log in. After logging in, candidates can view the published merit list online. The list includes each applicant’s merit score and total score.
University authorities have advised students to rely only on the official website for result information.
No other platforms have been announced for checking results.
The release of the result is important for students seeking admission to arts and law programmes. It will determine who can move forward in the competitive public university admission process. Jagannath University attracts a large number of applicants every year for its arts and law faculties. The very high competition reflects strong demand for limited public university seats.
The admission test was organised on the same day at all centres to ensure fairness. Candidates from both Dhaka and regional areas were able to sit for the exam.
Students who appear on the merit list will be considered for the next stage of admission.
Further instructions will be published through the official Jagannath University admission website.
