The Jagannath University (JnU) B Unit admission test result is now the most important topic for admission aspirants. More than 79,000 candidates are awaiting the merit list for the session 2025-2026. The written test for the Faculty of Arts and Law was held on Friday, January 30, at centres in Dhaka and several regional locations.
University officials have not yet announced an official publication date for the result. However, according to several admission-related sources, the result is expected to be released in the first week of February 2026.
Once published, candidates can check the JNU B Unit Result on the official admission website, jnuadmission.com. The merit status will appear after entering the applicant’s SSC roll number, HSC roll number, and registered mobile number.
The ‘B’ Unit admission test 2026 was held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Friday. The exam was conducted as a one-hour written test. A total of 79,807 candidates applied for the Faculty of Arts and Law this year. There are only 785 seats available under the ‘B’ Unit.
This means that around 102 students competed for each available seat. The high number shows strong competition for humanities and law programmes at the university. The examination was conducted at 13 centres in total. These included the Jagannath University campus and several other centres in Dhaka.
To reduce pressure in the capital, three regional centres outside Dhaka were also used. The centres were arranged to manage the large number of candidates safely and smoothly.
Earlier, the ‘A’ Unit admission test of Jagannath University was held on December 26, 2025. The result of that unit was published on January 5, 2026. That means the previous unit merit list was released about ten days after the examination.
Many candidates are using this previous timeline as a reference, although no official schedule has been confirmed for the ‘B’ Unit.
The result is important for thousands of students who hope to study in the Faculty of Arts and Law at one of the country’s major public universities. For many applicants, this outcome will decide their next step in higher education for the 2025–26 academic session.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official admission website for updates, as the university will publish the result notice there once it is officially released.
