The Junior Scholarship Exam 2025 Result is set to be published on Wednesday (February 25), education officials confirmed. Students across Bangladesh will be able to check the result on the official website once it is released.
A total of 46,200 students will receive scholarships this year. Among them, 14,700 students will get talent pool or merit scholarships. Another 31,500 students will receive general scholarships.
Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider confirmed the information. He is the controller of examinations at the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee.
“There is a possibility to publish the result on Wednesday. We have already received the order for scholarship quota distribution. Subject to approval from the ministry, the gazette containing the list of selected students will be published soon,” he said.
Officials said the final publication depends on approval from the Ministry of Education. Once approved, the gazette will include the names of selected students.
Under the merit category, each student will receive a one-time annual grant of Tk 560. They will also get a monthly stipend of Tk 450. Students selected for general scholarships will receive Tk 350 annually and Tk 300 per month.
The Junior Scholarship Examination for Class 8 students began on December 28, 2025. The exam ended on January 5, 2026. According to official data, 315,160 students took part in the exam. All participants had strong academic results in their Class 7 final examination.
The scholarship programme supports students with good academic performance. It helps families manage education costs and encourages students to continue their studies.
Education officials are now completing the final process before publication. Students and guardians are advised to follow official announcements for the confirmed release date later this week.
