The results of the 2025 Junior Scholarship Examination have been prepared, officials confirmed on Sunday. However, the authorities have not yet decided when the results will be published. The matter is now awaiting approval from the Ministry of Education.
Professor Dr. Khondokar Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, and President of the Inter-Board Coordination Committee, shared the update on 22 February.
He said several meetings are taking place to fix a possible date for publishing the results. “No specific date has been finalised yet. Once the matter is settled, it will be announced,” he said.
Officials said the process of setting the publication date is ongoing. They did not give further details about the approval timeline.
The 2025 Junior Scholarship Examination was held for Class Eight students. The exam covered five subjects. These were Bangla (subject code 101), English (107), Mathematics (109), Science (127), and Bangladesh and Global Studies (150).

According to board sources, the examinations took place from 28 to 30 December 2025. Another exam session was held on 6 December 2026. Authorities did not explain the reason for the separate date.
The Junior Scholarship JSC Examination is an important assessment for Class Eight students across Bangladesh. The results determine which students receive scholarships based on their performance. Many students and parents wait for the results each year.
Education board officials said they are completing the necessary administrative steps before publishing the results. They stressed that the results are fully prepared and only the final approval remains.
Once the ministry gives approval and a date is fixed, the education boards will formally announce the publication schedule.
