The results of the undergraduate first-year admission test for the 2025-2026 academic session of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) has been published. The merit list was made live on Sunday night, January 26. Applicants can check their results through the official KUET website at kuet.ac.bd.
According to the university, a total of 9,010 students have passed in Group ‘Ka’. This group includes candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Engineering) and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) programmes. In Group Kha, which is for the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programme, 304 students have passed.
KUET also released results for reserved categories. A total of 28 candidates have passed under the quota for students from the Chittagong Hill Tracts and small ethnic communities.
The admission test was held earlier on January 15 for the 2025–26 academic session. Exams took place at two centres: KUET in Khulna and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Dhaka.
At the BUET centre, 5,491 students appeared for the admission test. At the KUET centre, 6,222 students took part. University officials confirmed that the exams were conducted smoothly at both locations.

Department-wise data shows that 11,270 candidates appeared in Group ‘Ka’ across all centres. For Group ‘Kha’, the total number of examinees was 443. At the KUET centre alone, 5,779 students participated in the Group ‘Ka’ admission test.
The KUET admission test is highly competitive each year. It is a key step for students seeking admission to one of Bangladesh’s leading public engineering universities. The published results will now guide the next stages of the admission process, including merit-based selection and seat allocation.
