The National University has extended the deadline for preliminary online applications to its Master’s (Professional) programmes. Students can now apply until 12:00 midnight on March 16, 2026.
The university announced the change in an urgent notice on Thursday, March 5. The notice was published on the official admissions website of the university.
According to the notice, the extended deadline applies to admission for the 2026 academic year. Applications are open for colleges affiliated with the National University that offer Master’s (Professional) courses.
These programmes include Bachelor of Education (BEd), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), and Bachelor of Music Education (BMEd). Other programmes include Bachelor of Science Education (BSEd), Master of Education (MEd), Master of Science Education (MSEd), and Master of Physical Education (MPEd).
The application process also covers several other specialised programmes. These include the LLB Final Part for the 2023–2024 academic session. It also includes the MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management for the 2024–2025 academic session.
In addition, students can apply for the MSc in Computer Science and Engineering for the 2023–2024 session. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for the 2020–2024 session is also included.

Interested candidates must complete the preliminary application form online through the National University admissions website. Applicants must then submit a preliminary application fee of 1,000 taka to the selected college.
The fee can be paid through mobile banking if the college allows it. Students may also pay the fee directly to the college.
Applicants must submit the signed preliminary application form to the college by March 31. College authorities will verify and confirm the applications online until April 1.
After verification, colleges must deposit the university’s share of the fee. The amount is 800 taka per applicant. The payment must be made through “Sonali Seba” at any branch of Sonali Bank between April 2 and April 9.
