The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) announced the Navodaya Result 2026 for JNVST Class 6 on March 17. Students who took the entrance test can now check their results on the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
The result confirms selection for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, a network of central government residential schools. Students must use their roll number and date of birth to log in and view their status.
The online result shows key details. These include the student’s name, marks, and qualification status. Students who are selected will also receive official information through SMS and Speed Post.
NVS said students should download their result and keep a printed copy. This document may be required during the admission process.
After the result, selected students must complete document verification. This step is required before final admission is confirmed. Officials will check identity, eligibility, and school records during this process.

- Step 1: Visit the official website: Go to the official Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti website at navodaya.gov.in or https://cbseit.in/cbse/2026/nvsrst/NVS_Cls6.aspx using a mobile phone or computer with internet access.
- Step 2: Find the result section: On the homepage, look for the “Latest @ NVS” section. This area shows recent announcements and result links.
- Step 3: Open the result link: Click on the link titled JNVST Class 6 Result 2026. This will take you to the result login page.
- Step 4: Click on individual result option: Select the “View Individual Result” option. This allows students to check their personal result.
- Step 5: Enter login details: Type your roll number and date of birth in the required fields. Make sure the details match your admit card.
- Step 6: Submit details: Click on the Submit button. Your result will appear on the screen if the details are correct.
Students must submit documents such as a birth certificate and residence proof. They may also need a caste certificate if they apply under a reserved category. A disability certificate is required for students applying under the disability quota.
NVS also requires proof that the student studied in the same district for the last two years. Passport-size photographs and a school transfer certificate must also be submitted.

The JNVST exam is held every year for admission to Class 6. It helps select students for free residential education across India. The schools focus on academic learning along with co-curricular activities.
According to NVS, the selection list is now available only through the official website. Students and parents have been advised to avoid unofficial sources and rely only on confirmed updates from NVS.
Students should also check the website regularly for admission schedules. Further instructions about verification dates and joining formalities are expected to be released soon.
