The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has extended the deadline for submitting vacant teaching posts. Institutions can now submit their demand until 12:00 midnight on April 15. Lakh of candidates are eagerly waiting for the 19th NTRCA Circular.
NTRCA confirmed the extension in a letter issued on Sunday, April 12. The earlier deadline was set for the same day. Officials said the extension allows more institutions to complete the process properly.
The online submission of vacant posts began on March 31. This process supports recruitment under the 19th teacher registration. NTRCA collects data on MPO-listed posts from schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutes.
Institutions must submit their demand through the official online system. After submission, they must pay a fee of Tk 200 within 24 hours. NTRCA has made it clear that offline, hard copy, or email submissions will not be accepted.
The authority also stated that any demand submitted under previous recruitment notices will not remain valid. All registered institutions must follow the current process.
Under the NTRCA Act 2005 and related rules, submitting an e-requisition is mandatory. Failure to comply may lead to legal action. This includes the cancellation of MPO benefits for the institution and its head.
The extension gives institutions a final chance to meet the requirement. NTRCA is expected to proceed with the next steps of teacher recruitment after the revised deadline closes.
