The National University has extended the deadline for preliminary applications to its Professional Honours programmes for the 2025–26 academic year. Interested students can now apply online until 12:00 midnight on April 27. The university confirmed the change in an urgent notice issued on April 7.
Applicants must complete the preliminary form through the official admission website. They also need to pay an application fee of Tk 1,000. The fee must be paid through mobile banking set by the college or directly to the college by April 28.
The university advised students to read the full admission guidelines before applying. These details are available under the Honours Professional section of the admission website. Authorities said all other conditions from the earlier admission notice will remain unchanged.

According to the revised schedule, colleges must verify submitted applications by April 29. After verification, colleges must deposit the university’s share of the fee. This payment period will run from April 30 to May 6.
Colleges must deposit Tk 800 per applicant to selected branches of Sonali Bank. For this process, colleges must log in to the admission portal. They need to download the pay slip from the Application Payment Info option. After payment, they must collect and keep the bank receipt.
The notice said the updated schedule must be followed strictly by all colleges. The Vice-Chancellor approved the notice. Acting Dean Dr Md Ashek Kabir Chowdhury signed it.
Students and colleges are expected to complete all remaining steps within the revised deadlines.
