The National University (NU) is set to publish the Honours 2nd Year Result 2026 soon. The exams were held from October 22 to December 7, 2025. More than two lakh students took part across the country.
According to university sources, the result is expected in the first week of March 2026. If the authority follows its earlier practice, the results may be released by March 7. This date marks 90 days from the end of the examination.
In recent months, however, the university has reduced the result processing time. The Degree 3rd Year results were published within 50 days of the exam. Nearly 200,000 students received their results within that period. The university described it as a record in its history.
If the same speed is maintained, the Honours results could be published by February 28, 2026. Till now, officials have not confirmed a final date. The publication time depends on the completion of the answer script evaluation and data processing.
The number of candidates plays a key role in the timeline. This year, over 200,000 students sat for the Honours 2nd Year exams. Managing scripts for such a large group requires coordination across many centres.
Students will be able to check their Honours 2nd Year Result online once published. The results will be available on the official website at nu.ac.bd. To view the marksheet, candidates must enter their roll and registration numbers.
The timely publication of results is important for students. It allows them to prepare for the next academic year without delay. Many students also need the results for further studies and job applications.
