NU Honours Admission 2026 Application Ends Feb 22

Students must complete online forms by midnight and pay fees by 23 February to keep applications valid.

The online application process for first-year undergraduate (Honours) admission under the National University will end at 12:00 midnight on 22 February. The admission is for the 2025-2026 academic year at colleges affiliated with the university across Bangladesh.

University authorities said interested candidates must apply through the designated admission website within the deadline. Applicants need to fill in the online form carefully by following all conditions mentioned in the official guidelines. The university said other application rules remain unchanged.

Officials also confirmed that applicants must pay an application fee of Tk 1,000 to the college they selected. The fee must be paid through the approved mobile banking method or directly at the college by 23 February 2026. If the payment is not completed within this time, the application will be cancelled.

The university will later announce the schedule for the admission test and publish the list of examination centres.

For the 2025–26 session, separate admission tests will be held for students from humanities, science, and business studies backgrounds. The test will be based on multiple-choice questions, known as MCQs. Each candidate must answer 100 MCQ questions within one hour. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

The merit list will be prepared based on a total of 200 marks. Of this, 100 marks will come from the admission test. The remaining 100 marks will be calculated from public exam results. The university will count 40 per cent of the GPA from the SSC exam and 60 per cent from the HSC exam, including the fourth subject.

Separate subject-wise merit lists will be prepared for each college. The lists will follow the order of subject preference given by the candidates.

The admission process is important for thousands of higher secondary graduates seeking seats in affiliated colleges under the National University. Students who miss the deadline or fail to pay the required fee within the time will not be considered for admission.

The university is expected to release further instructions, including test dates and centre details, after the application period closes.
