SSC Exam 2026: Board Issues List of Allowed Calculators

The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has listed eight scientific calculator models that students can use in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.

The board shared the information in a notice on Tuesday, March 3. It also sent instructions to examination centre secretaries and other officials.

According to the notice, students may use non-programmable scientific calculators from the following models:

FX 82MS, FX 100MS, FX 570MS, FX 991MS, FX 991EX, FX 991ES, FX 991ES Plus, and FX 991CW.

General calculators are also allowed in the examination.

Officials said only non-programmable calculators are permitted. These devices cannot store programs or advanced data, which helps maintain fairness during exams.

The board has already published the SSC examination routine for this year. Written examinations will begin on April 21 and continue until May 20.

Each exam will start at 10:00 AM. Students must follow the rules set by their examination centres.

After the written tests end, practical examinations will take place from June 7 to June 14. Authorities must submit handwritten mark sheets, practical answer scripts, and related documents by June 18.

Education officials say these guidelines aim to ensure a smooth and fair examination process for students across Bangladesh.
