SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 to be out soon at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission says the admit cards will be issued two to three days before the examination starting on 4 February 2026.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the admit cards for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar recruitment examination shortly on its official website. According to the official short notice, the SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 will be made available two to three days before the scheduled date of the examination. The computer-based test will begin on 4 February 2026.

The Commission has already activated the city intimation slip, also known as the city slip, for candidates who applied successfully for the MTS and Havaldar posts.

The city slip download link is now live for all nine SSC regions. These include the Northern, Kerala, Karnataka, Southern, Central, Western, Eastern, North Western, North Easter,n and Madhya Pradesh regions.

Candidates must download their city slip from the regional SSC website where they submitted their application. Access is available only through login using the registered credentials.

SSC officials have clarified that the city slip and the admit card are two different documents and serve different purposes. The city intimation slip shows only the city and the general location of the examination centre. It helps candidates plan travel and accommodation.

The admit card, which will be issued closer to the exam date, contains the complete examination details. These include the roll number, full test centre address, reporting time, examination shift, and the list of documents required at the venue.

Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination without the official admit card. The Commission said that once the admit cards are released, candidates will be able to download them from the official SSC website by logging in with their registration number and password.

The SSC has not announced a fixed release date or time for the admit cards. It has only confirmed that the cards will be issued shortly, in line with the two-to-three-day timeline before the examination. The recruitment is being conducted for the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar under the Staff Selection Commission.

For candidates from Bangladesh who plan to travel to India for the examination, the early release of the city slip is important. It allows them to confirm the exam city and make travel plans in advance. SSC also advised candidates to carefully check all personal and examination details on both the city slip and the admit card after downloading.

The next update from the Commission will be the activation of the official admit card download link on the SSC website, ahead of the 4 February 2026 examination schedule.
