Vivo T5x 5G launches in India with 50MP Camera, Massive 7200mAh battery – Check Price

Vivo has launched the Vivo T5x 5G smartphone in India on Tuesday, expanding its mid-range 5G lineup. The device comes with a large 7,200mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor, and a high refresh rate display.

The company said the phone is designed for users who watch videos, play games, and need long battery backup.

The Vivo T5x 5G features a 7,200mAh battery with a 44W fast charger included in the box. Vivo claims the battery can support up to 40 hours of video playback and more than 15 hours of gaming based on internal tests.

The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It operates on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo said the device will receive two Android updates and four years of security updates.

The handset comes with a full HD+ display measuring about 6.7 inches. It supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of around 1,200 nits. A higher refresh rate helps make scrolling and gaming appear smoother.

For cameras, the phone includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has a 32-megapixel front camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.

The device also includes gaming and software features such as Ultra Game Mode and AI tools. These include AI Transcript Assist, Circle to Search, and AI Captions, according to the company.

Vivo said the phone meets military-grade durability standards and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings. These ratings indicate protection against dust and water under test conditions.

The Vivo T5x 5G starts at ₹18,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM variants cost ₹20,999 for 128GB storage and ₹22,999 for 256GB storage. The phone comes in Cyber Green and Star Silver colours.

Sales will begin on March 24 through Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and authorised retail outlets.

The launch adds another option in India’s competitive mid-range 5G market, where battery life and gaming performance remain key buying factors for many users in the region.
