The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mymensingh, has published the results of the Junior Scholarship Examination for Class Eight. A total of 3,032 students under the board have received scholarships this year.
The board shared the information in an official notice on Wednesday, 25 December. It also released the full list of selected students.
Among the recipients, 967 students secured merit scholarships. Another 2,065 students received general scholarships.
According to the board, merit scholarship holders will receive Tk 560 as a yearly grant. They will also get a monthly stipend of Tk 450. Students who received general scholarships will get Tk 350 per year and Tk 300 per month. The financial support will continue for two years.

Officials said the Junior Scholarship Examination resumed after nearly one and a half decades. The exam began on 28 December and ended on 5 January.
A total of 315,160 students took part in the examination under the board.
Education officials said the scholarship aims to support talented students and reduce financial pressure on families. The published results now allow selected students to complete the required formalities to receive their stipends under the board’s guidelines.
