The Bangladesh Open University has published the results of the BA and BBS Exam 2025 (Session 2024). The results cover the 1st to 6th semesters. Authorities announced the results on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
Mr. Md. Habibullah Mahmud, Acting Controller of Examinations, announced with official approval.
A total of 259,969 students registered across six semesters. Among them, 220,214 students sat for the examinations. In addition, 40,876 students took part in the final exams.
In total, 22,008 students passed. The overall pass rate stands at 66.73 percent. Of the successful candidates, 14,667 are male, and 12,031 are female.
In terms of grades, one student secured an ‘A-’. A total of 170 students received ‘B+’, while 2,671 obtained ‘B’. Some 8,760 students achieved ‘B-’. Another 10,082 students earned ‘C+’, 4,970 received ‘C’, and 59 students got ‘C-’.
Students can check their results on the official website at result.bou.ac.bd. The university also said that final exam results are available through SMS.
Bangladesh Open University runs programmes for learners across the country. The publication of results allows students to plan their next semester’s enrolment and academic progress.
University authorities said further academic activities will continue according to the academic calendar.
