Over 21,000 Institutions Complete NTRCA E-Registration Process

More than 21,000 private educational institutions in Bangladesh have completed the online information update process known as e-registration. The process helps authorities identify vacant teaching posts in MPO-listed institutions across the country.

A source at the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) said the e-registration activity ended on March 1. The process began on February 9 and continued after an extended deadline.

During this period, 21,088 schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutions updated their data online. The information includes details about vacant teaching posts in institutions that receive Monthly Pay Order (MPO) support from the government.

NTRCA earlier announced that institutions must complete e-registration to submit vacancy information digitally. The original deadline ran from February 9 to February 22, but authorities later extended it until March 1 at midnight.

The extended period also allowed institutions to correct mistakes in the data they submitted earlier. Authorities said institutions could edit incorrect information through the e-registration system.

Detailed instructions about the process were available on the NTRCA website. Institutions could find the guidelines in the “e-registration” service section of the official portal.

According to the NTRCA Act 2005 and related circulars, e-registration and e-requisition are mandatory for MPO-listed vacant teaching posts. Authorities warned that failure to follow the rules could lead to legal action.

Such action may include the cancellation of MPO benefits for both the institution and its head. Officials asked institution heads and Upazila Secondary Education Officers to complete the process within the set timeline.

The collected information will now help NTRCA prepare for future recruitment steps to fill vacant teaching positions in MPO-listed institutions.
