The iQOO Z11x 5G has been launched in India on Thursday by smartphone maker iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo. The device expands the company’s Z-series lineup in the mid-range segment.
The phone will go on sale in India from March 16 at 12 pm IST. Customers can buy it through the online platform Amazon and other retail partners.
The new handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. The processor uses a 4-nanometre manufacturing process. It includes four performance cores with speeds up to 2.6GHz and four efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz.
The company says the phone targets users who want strong performance and long battery life. It also serves as the successor to the earlier Z-series device in the same category.
The smartphone features a 6.76-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 × 2344 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It can reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. This helps improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
For durability, the handset carries IP68 and IP69+ ratings. These ratings indicate protection against dust and water.
The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company promises two years of operating system upgrades. It also plans to provide four years of security updates.
The phone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Internal storage options go up to 256GB using UFS 3.1 technology.
In the camera section, the handset uses a dual rear camera setup. The main sensor is a 50-megapixel camera. It works with a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor for portrait shots. A 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Battery capacity is one of the key highlights. The device packs a 7,200mAh battery, which is larger than many phones in this price range. It supports 44W wired fast charging.
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS systems such as GLONASS and Galileo. The phone also includes a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In India, the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 18,999. The 8GB and 128GB version is priced at Rs 20,999. The top model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 22,999.
The company is offering an instant discount of up to Rs 2,000 for customers using Axis Bank or SBI credit cards.
The phone is available in two colour options: Titan Black and Prismatic Green. Sales will begin online and through retail channels from mid-March.
