Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) may hold an orientation for first-year students on May 9. Classes for the 2025–26 academic session may start on May 10, according to an official notice.
Professor Dr Md Nurul Islam, chairman of the first-year undergraduate admission test committee, signed the notice. It was published on the RUET admission website.
The notice says these dates are still provisional. The university may adjust them if needed.
RUET also issued instructions about admission cancellation. Students admitted through the university’s independent admission test can cancel their admission up to three days before orientation. They must follow the official admission cancellation rules.
Students who want to cancel admission after classes begin must follow separate university regulations.
The final RUET admission test took place on January 22. The university published results on January 24. The first phase of admission started on February 18. The fourth phase is now in progress.
For this phase, students ranked from 4101 to 4210 must report for admission. Students ranked from 4211 to 4800 may also be called if seats remain vacant. They have been asked to appear at the RUET Guest House on April 21 with the required documents.
