The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has extended the registration deadline for eleventh-grade (HSC 1st Year) students. The new deadline is April 30. The decision applies to students admitted offline to colleges for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The board shared the update in a notice published on Monday. It asked principals and head teachers to complete the process on time. The registration is done through the electronic Student Information Form (e-SIF), a digital system for student records.
Officials said the extension followed requests from students, guardians, and institutions. Many faced delays in completing the process earlier.
The extension gives students more time to finish their registration without pressure. Colleges are expected to ensure all pending entries are completed before the new deadline.
