The results of the Technology Unit admission test for the 2025-2026 academic session of the University of Dhaka have been published, according to an official notice. Candidates who sat for the test can now check their results through the university admission website.
Applicants need to enter their Higher Secondary Certificate roll number, board name, year of passing, and Secondary School Certificate roll number on the official portal to view the result.
The university also announced a re-scrutiny process for candidates who want to challenge the published results. Applications for rechecking will be accepted from April 19 to April 22.
To apply, students must deposit Tk1,000 and collect the prescribed form from the Office of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Forms will be available from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on working days. Candidates must submit the completed form along with a photocopy of their admit card.
The notice said no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Students who passed the DU Technology Unit Admission test and want to enrol must also complete a detailed online form and submit their subject preference list between April 20 and April 27.
The university said no candidate will be nominated for any subject without submitting the online choice list. This step is important for final placement into available departments.
Quota applicants who selected quota options during the online application process must also complete separate formalities. They need to deposit Tk500 and collect the required form from the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology between April 19 and April 23.
A photocopy of the admit card must be attached to the quota application.
For the freedom fighter quota, candidates must submit an attested copy of the certificate issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs. The freedom fighter’s information must also be available online. A relationship certificate from the Union Parishad, municipality, city corporation, or freedom fighter commander is also required.

For the disability quota, two attested copies each of certificates and identity cards from the District Civil Surgeon and Department of Social Services must be submitted.
For tribal or ethnic minority quota applicants, two attested copies of certificates from the Deputy Commissioner and the relevant community chief are required. Similar documents are needed for Harijan and Dalit community applicants.
The university advised students to check the official admission website regularly for any new notices or updates on the admission process.
