BOU SSC Admission Result 2026: Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has published the admission test results for certificate-less students seeking entry to the SSC Programme for the 2026 batch under its Open School.
The results were formally handed over on Wednesday at 11:00 am by the chairman of the admission test committee to Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiquur Rahman Khan. Other committee members were also present during the handover ceremony.
The information was confirmed in a press release issued by the university authorities.
According to the published results, a total of 6,826 students applied for admission. Of them, 5,217 candidates took part in the test. Among those who sat for the exam, 5,096 students passed. The overall pass rate stood at 97.67 percent.
The university said all activities linked to the admission test were completed in a smooth, peaceful, and transparent manner. It also thanked teachers, officers, and staff members for helping prepare and publish the results on time.

The admission test committee was led by Professor Dr. Mohammad Zafar Ahammed of the Open School under the overall supervision of the Vice-Chancellor, the statement said.
BOU’s Open School has long provided alternative education opportunities for students who dropped out of formal schooling, learners from disadvantaged backgrounds, and others looking for flexible study options.
The SSC Programme is important for many learners in Bangladesh because it offers a second chance to continue education and improve future job prospects.
Candidates who passed the admission test have been asked to complete their admission process online from May 15 to June 15, 2026.
The university is expected to begin the next stage of enrolment after the online admission period ends.
