BOU MA and MSS Examinations Begin Across Bangladesh

The MA and MSS examinations of the Bangladesh Open University have begun across the country. The examinations started on Friday and will continue until July 17, according to a press release issued by the university.

The exams are being conducted by the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages. They are taking place at designated centres under 12 regional centres nationwide.

Students from Bangla Language and Literature, History, Philosophy, Islamic Studies, Political Science and Sociology are taking part in the examinations this year.

According to the university schedule, the MA and MSS 1st Semester Preliminary examinations for the 251 term, 2nd Semester Preliminary examinations for the 242 term, and 2nd Semester Final examinations for the 232 term are being held in two daily shifts.

The first shift begins at 9:00 am and continues until 1:00 pm. The second shift starts at 2:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm.

Professor Saeed Ferdous visited the MA and MSS examination centre at the BOU campus in Gazipur on Friday. The Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages and the acting Controller of Examinations were also present during the visit.

The university said examinations for first-phase and final-phase MA and MSS students under the Dhaka Regional Centre are being held at the main BOU campus in Gazipur.

University authorities said they have completed all necessary preparations to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly and in an orderly manner.
