The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under the Bangladesh Open University will begin on Friday, 24 April. The exams will be held at 170 centres in government and private educational institutions across Bangladesh.
According to BOU sources, a total of 31,052 candidates will take part in the BOU SSC Exam 2026. The figure includes both first-year and second-year students.
Among the candidates, 20,159 are male, and 10,893 are female. The university said all necessary steps have been completed to ensure the exams are held in a fair and peaceful environment.
BOU authorities said they want to prevent cheating and maintain discipline at every centre. For that reason, they have sought support from the local administration in different districts.
The university has also formed special vigilance teams. These teams will monitor activities at various exam centres during the test period.
