The seat plan and exam schedule for the Officer (General) post in eight banks have been released. The preliminary examination will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The exam will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A total of 1,16,205 candidates have applied for the Officer (General) Post.

The information was published in an official notice issued on Sunday, 25 January. The notice was signed by Mizanur Rahman Akon, Director (BSCS) and Member-Secretary of the Bankers Selection Committee Secretariat.

According to the notice, the exam will be held under the supervision of the Bankers Selection Committee Secretariat. It is a one-hour preliminary test for eligible candidates applying for the post of Officer (General), which is a 10th-grade position.

The recruitment is being conducted on a combined basis for eight banks and financial institutions. The full list of examination centres has already been published.

Candidates can also download duplicate admit cards from the Bangladesh Bank recruitment website. The details are available at the official e-recruitment portal.
