Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) has published its undergraduate admission notice for the 2025–2026 academic year. The online application process began on Tuesday, May 12, and will continue until June 22.
According to a notice signed by the Chairman of the Undergraduate Program Examination Committee–2026, students will be selected through an admission test for first-year BSc Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture programs at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology.
Eligible Bangladeshi candidates have been asked to apply online through the official admission website. Applicants must pay a Tk 1,500 admission test fee using Rocket, bKash, or Agrani Education Fee Pay through mobile banking or internet banking services.
The university said candidates can submit applications from 8:00 am on May 12 until 3:00 pm on June 22 by following the instructions available on the DUET Admission portal.
Under the eligibility conditions, applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens. They must also have passed SSC, Dakhil, or equivalent examinations with at least 50 percent marks or a GPA of 3.00 on a 5.00 scale.
Applicants must also have completed a Diploma in Engineering, a Diploma in Agriculture, or a Diploma in Architecture under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board with at least 60 percent average marks or a CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
The notice said only students who passed diploma examinations in 2024 or later years will be allowed to take part in the admission test. However, this condition will not apply to candidates working in government, semi-government, autonomous, or sector corporation institutions, including teachers.
DUET also said candidates applying for multiple departments must submit separate applications for each department. However, applicants for the ME, IPE, and MME departments will need to submit only one application and mention their order of preference.
The university instructed employed candidates to apply through the proper authority.
