The undergraduate first-year admission test of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) continued today, Wednesday, January 28, with the ‘D’ Unit examination. The test is being held for the 2025–26 academic session at the university campus in Dinajpur.
According to the official admission schedule, the ‘D’ Unit admission test is under the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. A total of 27,097 applicants applied for this unit. The examination began at 11:30 AM and is being conducted in three separate phases.
The first phase, known as D1, is taking place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The second phase, D2, is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The final phase, D3, will be held from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates were assigned phases based on the roll numbers issued by the university.
Earlier today, the ‘C’ Unit admission test under the Faculty of Business Studies was also held. That examination started at 9:30 AM and ended at 11:00 AM. University officials confirmed that both tests are being conducted according to the published timetable.
The HSTU undergraduate admission tests began on January 26. On that day, the ‘A’ Unit admission test was held under the Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Veterinary. The ‘B’ Unit examination took place yesterday, January 27.
University authorities said all examinations are being held following standard procedures. Entry checks, seating arrangements, and time management were in place to ensure a smooth process. Examinees were advised to arrive early and bring the required documents.
The D Unit admission test is important for students seeking admission in Social Science and Humanities subjects. With a large number of applicants, competition for available seats remains high. The results of this unit will play a key role in determining final admissions for the session.
HSTU is one of the major public science and technology universities in Bangladesh. Every year, thousands of students from across the country apply for its undergraduate programmes.
After the completion of all unit examinations, the university is expected to publish the results according to its admission timeline. Further instructions on merit lists and next steps will be announced through official HSTU channels.
