The Bankers Selection Committee has announced the MCQ examination date for the Officer–Rural Credit (O-RC) post in Janata Bank PLC and Agrani Bank PLC. The preliminary exam will take place on April 3, 2026, for 47,229 eligible candidates.
The information was published in an official notice on Sunday (March 15, 2026) on the committee’s website. The notice also included details about the exam schedule, subjects, and examination centres.
The recruitment aims to fill 233 vacant posts for the 10th-grade Officer–Rural Credit position. The application process started after a recruitment notice was issued on January 19, 2025, under Notice No. 16/2025. Candidates who met the requirements after applying have now been selected for the first stage.
According to the notice, the Officer–Rural Credit MCQ Exam 2026 will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The total duration will be one hour. The full mark of the exam is 100.
The examination will take place at 21 centres at the same time. Candidates must report to their assigned centres before the exam begins. Entry without a valid admit card will not be allowed.
The notice states that the exam will follow the syllabus mentioned in the official content section. Usually, this type of test includes questions from Bangla, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Analytical Ability. Analytical ability tests logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Officials advised candidates to carefully check the officially published syllabus to understand the final question pattern. They also asked candidates to read all instructions printed on the admit card.
Several rules have been set for exam day. Candidates must reach the centre early to complete entry checks. They must also bring a printed admit card for identification.
Mobile phones and any electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination halls. Candidates must also sit for the test only at the centre mentioned in their admit card.
The Bankers Selection Committee conducts recruitment tests for state-owned banks to ensure a fair hiring process. These jobs are considered important for expanding rural banking services.
Further instructions, including seat plans and any updates, are expected to be released through official notices before the examination date.
