JNU Starts Undergraduate Admission Process for Selected Candidates from Today

Selected students must complete online form and fee payment by 23 February.

Admission for first-year undergraduate (Honours) and BBA programmes at Jagannath University begins at 12:00 PM today, Thursday, 19 February. The process will continue until 11:59 PM on 23 February, according to an official notice.

The notice was signed on Wednesday by the Acting Registrar of Jagannath University, Professor Dr Md Sheikh Gias Uddin.

Students who received subject allotment in the first phase under Units A, B, C, D and E for the 2025–26 academic year must complete their admission online. They need to log in to their respective panels on the university’s admission website during the given period. After filling out the admission form, they must pay the required fees online to confirm their application.

The online portal is available at jnuadmission.com. The university has also published detailed instructions on its official admission website.

In addition to the online process, students must visit the respective Dean’s Office in person. This must be done between 19 February and 24 February on working days. Office hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Students need to submit the printed admission form and required documents. They will then collect a document submission slip as final confirmation of admission.

The admission fee this year ranges from BDT 10,630 to BDT 12,360. The amount depends on the department and faculty.

University officials have asked students to complete both the online and in-person steps within the deadline. Missing the schedule may affect admission confirmation.
