JNU Sets Admission Dates

Jagannath University (JNU) has announced admission dates for students who received subject allocations in five units for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The notice was issued on Wednesday, 18 February, and signed by Acting Registrar Professor Dr Md Sheikh Gias Uddin.

According to the notice, candidates selected in the first phase under Units A, B, C, D and E for Undergraduate (Honours) and BBA first-year programmes must complete online formalities from 12:00 PM on 19 February 2026 to 11:59 PM on 23 February 2026.

Students must log in to their respective panels on the university’s admission website during this period. They need to fill in the admission form and pay the required fees online.

After completing the online process, candidates must submit printed copies of the admission form along with the necessary documents to their respective Dean’s Office. This must be done between 19 February and 24 February 2026, from 9:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on working days.

Students will receive a document submission slip from the Dean’s Office. This slip will confirm their admission.

The university has asked students to follow the instructions carefully and complete both steps within the given time.

The announcement is important for thousands of applicants across Bangladesh who applied for first-year seats at Jagannath University. Missing the deadline may result in the cancellation of the allocated seat.
