The Islamic Arabic University (IAU) is all set to publish the Kamil Result 2026 for the 1st and 2nd Year examination results today, Sunday, May 10. The results will be available on the university’s official website at result.iau.edu.bd.

Professor Dr Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Controller of Examinations and Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university, confirmed the matter on Saturday. Later, the university also issued an official notice on its website and Facebook page.

According to the notice, candidates will be able to check their merit status by entering their registration number on the result portal.

This year’s Kamil 1st and 2nd Year examinations were held from January 3 to February 9 at the Islamic Arabic University. A total of 42,339 students from across Bangladesh took part in the exams.

The examinations were conducted at 167 centres nationwide. The Kamil postgraduate examinations covered four subjects: Al-Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh, and Adab.

Students can check their results by visiting the official result website and submitting their registration number in the required field. The result will then appear on the screen.

  • Wait for the result page to load completely.
  • Enter your Registration Number in the required box.
  • Double-check the registration number to avoid mistakes.
  • Click the “Submit” or “Result” button.
  • Your Kamil Result and merit status will appear on the screen.
  • Download or print the result copy for future use if needed.

The university also advised students not to panic if the website becomes slow or temporarily unavailable after the results are published. Heavy traffic is expected on the server as thousands of candidates try to access their results at the same time.

The publication of the Kamil results is important for students seeking admission to higher academic programmes and those preparing for the next stage of Islamic studies under the university system.

University officials said all result-related updates and notices will continue to be published through the university’s official platforms.
