Preliminary to Masters Admission Result 2026 Published, Merit List Available Online and SMS

The National University has published the Preliminary to Masters Admission Result 2026 for the 2023–2024 academic session. The result was made live on Monday, March 2. Applicants can check the 1st merit list through the official admissions website.

Earlier, the university issued a notice on its website about the publication date. According to the notice, the subject-based merit list for admission to the Preliminary to Master’s (Regular) programme at affiliated colleges was released on March 2.

Candidates can access the result in two ways. The SMS service became available from 4:00 PM on the same day. The online result was made available from 8:00 PM through the admissions portal at app11.nu.edu.bd and www.nu.ac.bd/admissions.

To check the result online, applicants need to visit http://app1.nu.edu.bd/. After the page loads, they should click on “Masters/MAS/Ad. MBA/M.Phil/Ph.D/PGD in LIS.” Then they must select “Applicant Login” under the Preliminary to Masters (Regular) menu.

Applicants have to enter their Application Roll Number and PIN correctly. After clicking the “Login” button, the result will appear on the screen. Students are advised to print the result page or keep a screenshot for future use.

The Preli to Masters Result can also be checked by mobile phone. Candidates need to type: nu atmp roll number and send the SMS to 16222. For example: nu atmp 2445455.

The notice also includes important instructions for selected candidates. Any student who secures a place in the merit list but is currently enrolled in another educational programme must cancel the previous admission by March 12, 2026. If they fail to do so, their admission to the Preliminary to Master’s programme will be cancelled.

Selected applicants must complete the final admission process online between March 2 and March 30, 2026. Detailed guidelines about the admission process are available on the National University admissions website.

The publication of the merit list is important for thousands of graduates seeking to continue higher studies under National University-affiliated colleges across Bangladesh. Candidates are advised to follow the official instructions carefully to avoid cancellation of their admission.
