The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations continued across Bangladesh on Tuesday, 28 April, with the English Second Paper held on the fourth day of the national test schedule.
According to the announced routine, this year’s examinations will continue until 20 May. Students from schools and institutions across the country joined the exam at thousands of centres.
A total of 1,857,344 students are taking part under 11 education boards this year. Among them, 930,305 are male students and 927,039 are female students.

The examinations are being held with participation from 30,666 educational institutions at 3,885 centres nationwide.
Board-wise data show that 1,418,318 candidates are under the general education boards. Another 303,286 students are sitting under the Madrasa Board through the Dakhil stream, while 134,660 candidates are under the Technical Education Board.
The next scheduled exams will continue under the routine until mid-May.
