SSC Exam 2027 Date

The SSC and Equivalent Exams 2027 will be held in the last week of January, while the HSC and Equivalent Exams 2027 will take place in June.

Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon said on Wednesday.

The minister announced while speaking as the chief guest at an Excellence Award distribution programme at the Gazipur Board Bazar campus of the Islamic University of Technology.

He said the Ministry of Education is working to reduce the session jam that developed in the country’s education system during the COVID-19 pandemic and other disruptions over recent years.

According to the minister, the government has prepared a realistic examination schedule to reduce pressure on students and maintain regular academic activities.

He also said there had been a plan to hold public examinations in December. However, the government later changed the decision after considering opinions from students, parents, and teachers.

“Next year, the SSC examination will be taken at the end of January and the HSC examination in June,” the minister said. He added that efforts are continuing to fully restore the normal academic schedule in the coming years.

For many years, SSC examinations in Bangladesh usually started in February, while HSC examinations began in April. However, the regular schedule changed after the COVID-19 outbreak, causing delays in public examinations and academic sessions.

This year’s SSC examinations started on April 21, while the HSC examinations are scheduled to begin on July 2.

The latest announcement is expected to help students, parents, and educational institutions prepare earlier for the next academic year as the government moves toward bringing the examination calendar back to its regular timeline.
