National University has officially published the Honours 4th Year re-scrutiny result. The result went live on the university’s official website on Monday night, February 9.

Students who applied for re-scrutiny, also known as board challenge, can now check their updated results online. The result will appear automatically after entering roll and registration numbers on the National University result portal.

The university earlier published the main Honours 4th Year result on 13 November 2025. According to the official notice at that time, 68.67 per cent of the 256,591 candidates passed. Five days later, the university released the CGPA results and announced the re-scrutiny process.

The application notice for re-scrutiny was published on 16 November 2025. Online applications started on 18 November and continued until 12 December 2025. Students were allowed to apply for subjects where they were not satisfied with their marks or grades.

National University usually publishes re-scrutiny results within or shortly after two months of the main result. In this case, the two-month period ended on 13 January 2026. Many students had been waiting for the outcome since then.

After the result publication, some students began sharing their experiences on social media. In a Facebook group, one student wrote that he applied for re-scrutiny in five failed subjects and passed all of them after the review.

The re-scrutiny process involves rechecking answer scripts and marking records. It does not include any new examination. Changes are made only if errors are found during the review.

For many final-year students, the Honours 4th Year re-scrutiny result is important. It affects graduation clearance and future plans, including higher studies and job applications.

University authorities have urged students to check results only through the official website. They have also warned against unofficial pages and misleading information online.

National University is expected to publish a formal notice on its website confirming the release of the re-scrutiny results and providing access instructions for all applicants.
