Rajshahi University (RU) may publish the results of the written and practical exams of its ‘A’ Unit on February 13 or 14. The results are for first-year undergraduate (Honours) admission for the 2025–26 academic session.

Professor Dr. Belal Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, confirmed the date to the media on Tuesday, February 10.

He said the written and practical exams have already ended. The university has set aside one week to check the answer scripts. Teachers will submit the marks on February 13 and 14. The results will be published on the same day, he added.

The practical exams for the Department of Music and Drama took place on February 1, 2, and 3. Practical exams for Fine Arts, Oriental Art and Printmaking, Ceramics and Sculpture, Graphic Design, Crafts, and History of Art were held on February 7.

The written exams for the Departments of Law, Law and Land Administration, and English were also held on February 7.

For the Department of English, 1,500 candidates were selected for the integrated written exam. They were chosen from those who passed the MCQ test and scored the highest marks in the English section.

For the Department of Law and the Department of Law and Land Administration, the first 1,500 candidates were selected based on merit. They had to score at least 45 percent in both Bangla and English in the MCQ test. These selected candidates then took part in the integrated written exam.

The final merit list for the Department of English will be prepared only from the written exam marks. In contrast, the merit and waiting lists for Law and Law and Land Administration will be based on combined marks from both the MCQ and written exams.
