The third phase of undergraduate admissions for the 2025–2026 academic year at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) will take place on April 8. The process will run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the university’s central auditorium.
According to an official admission notice, candidates ranked from 2501 to 3000 are eligible. These students are from the main merit list for Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning. They have been asked to appear before the scrutiny board for verification.
Officials said admission will depend on merit and vacant seats. Students present on the day will get seats based on their ranking. If more students attend than available seats, authorities will prepare a waiting list. This list will follow the same merit order.

The notice also explains the required documents for admission. Students must bring original SSC and HSC certificates and transcripts. They must also bring the original registration card and testimonial. Two passport-size colour photos and the signed admit card are also required.
Students must also submit a blood group test report from a recognised diagnostic centre. Those who wear glasses must bring them for the health check.
Earlier, the second phase of admission started on March 10. After that phase ended, 133 seats remained vacant out of 920 total seats.
